Politics of Mass Distraction

The republicans wouldn't know an issue if it jumped up and bit them in the face. All they can do is try to fake their way through a comment and make a big deal out of it, meanwhile offering nothing that would help the people of the United States.

Bring on the debates. Maybe the moderators will ask questions about veterans issues, energy, affordable health care, global politics, ending the war.

Besides, you really can put lipstick on a pig...here's proof.

Oh Brother said in a comment yesterday that seeing Liberty Bell perform was "pretty scary" but what about Republican keynote address speaker and former presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani? And he really is a pig, but that's a different story as well.

Oh, and here is McCain talking about Hillary and her health care plan. That's when he was "for" using the phrase before he was "against" using the phrase.

Come on republicans...and press...lets address some issues here.

That lipstick comment was totally and intentionally taken out of context by the McCain camp. When taken with what else Obama said it is clear that he is talking policy not gender.

I am looking forward to the debates. Both candidates have gotten softball questions during their limited interviews. Hopefully the debates will help those that are uncommitted (such as myself) make a decision. I would really hate to write in Luke Skywalker.

Now for the important question. Can Rudy take his teeth out at the end of one of his speeches? If not Liberty Bell still has him beat.
